Holiday Style DIY Centerpiece for the November DIY Challenge

I’ve been having so much fun each month since I’ve revamped these challenges. This month’s DIY challenge was awesome!  November’s challenge was to do a DIY centerpiece. Each person was given a particular “assignment”, which is a color, material, or theme to incorporate in your DIY project.

My “assignment” was greenery. Since it’s close to Christmas, I decided that I would give my table some holiday cheer by using Christmas garland. I simply folded my garland sent from the Home Depot and decorated it with ornaments. I set the table for four and added some festive ribbon to create a simple tablescape for the holidays. Check out my disco ball ornaments! I can’t get enough of them! Here’s my my DIY centerpiece.

And, here are some of the other DIY centerpieces:

My mom, Wendy, made this DIY centerpiece with “something pulled from this, something from that, something from the garage, something off the wall” (her words, not mine, LOL). The image is a bit dark, but it’s beautiful! I saw it in person and was like WOW!

Katricia of Type 4 Naturals made this thankful tree with her daughter. Each leaf has a handwritten thank you.

faux-fur-leopard-2It’s my leopard faux fur pillow cover!! The random winner of my leopard print faux fur pillow cover is Katricia!!
