OMG, y’all don’t kill me! I am finally, FINALLY able to start back with my laundry room project. If you can remember, I was supposed to have finished this earlier in the Spring for the One Room Challenge, but it just didn’t work out. I’ve run into so many problems, from electrical issues to issues with getting all the plumbing moved for the vanity/faucet.[disclaim]This post contains affiliate links, which means that if you make a purchase from a link provided in this post, I may make a small commission. Because this room is so small, I don’t want to give away too much, so below is a couple small peeks. I’m absolutely in love with my new matte black Delta faucet from eFaucets!
The matte black faucet from eFaucets looks so good, y’all!! I found so many great options on eFaucets.com, but settled on this Delta one. It’s elegant, but not too fancy – perfect for my eclectic, timeless vibe. If you’re looking for faucets, you’ve gotta check them out!
Please forgive the bad photos, but I literally have NO light in my laundry room. The light fixture is no longer working and I’m waiting for my guy to come move all the water lines for the vanity, so he can hang the new light fixture at the same time.
This stencil project seriously almost made me throw THE ENTIRE LAUNDRY ROOM away. I was so over this project. Let me explain why. See, the stenciling in itself is easy. The thing is… I get bored with anything that takes me longer than 2 minutes. I can’t help it. Plus, each time I stepped back to admire my work, I realized I had mistakes that needed to be fixed and that I hadn’t gotten very far. I was just so done with it after a few breaks. But, it was totally worth every minute, because it’s so glam and fabulous!
I used a copper metallic paint to stencil the beautiful art deco pattern onto the wall. I’ll share a detailed video of how I did the stenciling in a separate post.
Just as a reminder, here’s what the laundry room looked like before:
