Meet Whitney Jones

Founder, Principal Designer, Creative Visionary

I am Whitney, a designer from the Greater New Orleans area with a lifelong love for color, texture, and expressive interiors. My design approach is shaped by the culture and vibrancy of New Orleans, where creativity is a way of life and personal style is celebrated boldly.

I create homes that feel alive and deeply personal. Homes that reflect who you are and how you want to live. Homes that feel collected, soulful, and beautifully layered. My goal is simple. I want your home to feel so comfortable, so intentional, and so perfectly tailored to you that you never feel the need to leave home to find peace or inspiration.

Over the years, I have refined my expertise in space planning, project management, and construction level design. These skills allow me to guide clients through renovations, furnishings, and new builds with confidence and clarity. I am also the founder of the Whitney J Decor Shop, a curated extension of my design style filled with art, accessories, and globally inspired pieces that reflect the expressive, layered aesthetic I am known for.

Project Manager, Second Brain, Operational Powerhouse

Behind every beautifully executed project is my project manager, Alexa Jones. She is the second brain of the studio, the steady hand, the detail catcher, and the operational force that keeps every project moving.

The original Alexa before “Alexa” was a thing, Lex is on job sites managing trades, tracking every piece of decor, and catching issues long before they ever reach the client. She keeps timelines tight, communication clear, and the vision protected from start to finish. Her presence is a major reason our clients feel supported, confident, and excited throughout the entire process.

Together, we balance creativity and structure, artistry and logistics. I shape the vision, and Alexa ensures every moving part lands exactly where it should.
