Wednesday is the first day of my 10 Days to an Organized Home challenge. Are you guys ready?? We’re going to have so much fun!
[warning]If you aren’t signed up, sign up below.[/warning]Each day of the challenge, you’ll receive an email that includes your assignment, along with some helpful tips and tricks to help you organize. I’ll also provide links to some DIY projects that will inspire you. I’d love for you to either post progress photos on social media with the hastagh #10DaysOH, or email them to me. I’ll be pinning progress photos to our challenge Pinterest board. I’ll also be posting on Twitter, Instagram, and my Facebook page, so make sure you’re following to keep up.
Throughout the challenge, you’ll see some before and after photos from my home, too, while I go through the assignments with you.
I’ll also be giving away some great gifts! If you’re signed up for the challenge, you won’t have to do anything extra. If you’re not signed up, sign up now!
I’m partnering with my friends Tonisha and Nakeya on the challenge. They’ll be helping with the assignments and making sure you guys stay on track.
Tonisha helps her clients unlock more of their awesomeness by learning who they are, how they live, and making sure their home not only reflects those traits, but sets them on a path to achieve their life goals & purpose.
She recently released her ULTIMATE HIS & HERS DECORATING GUIDE.
You can follow her on Twitter & Instagram.
Nakeya is an Interior Decorator and launched her design firm in 2005. She’s all about giving her clients a high-end look on an affordable budget.
Nakeya does amazing work, guys, check it out.
You can follow her on Twitter.
Throughout the challenge, we’ll be showing you guys how to organize your space and combat clutter. I’ll be suggesting lots of different items that’ll help you with your assignments each day. Here’s a few that you may want to gather before we get started:
- bookcase or storage cubby
- clear plastic storage bins
- decorative storage baskets to fit in your bookcase or storage cubby
- labels for labeling your bins, boxes, and baskets
- small decorative boxes to use for corralling small, like items together
- different sized canisters for food and/or toiletries
- small magnets
- drawer organizers
- ziplock bags (in different sizes)
The above items can be extremely inexpensive if you check out your local dollar store, Walmart, or Target. I’m sure a lot of you probably have some of this stuff in your garage, attic, or in other places of the home.
Follow our challenge Pinterest board below and make sure you’re repinning the images on your own boards, too.
Finally, I’d love to know what you want to see in the challenge. Leave me a comment below!
Till next time,
