I’ve already showed you two ways to style my desk: for the blogger and for the fashionista and. If you’ve been following along with this series, you know I’m sharing these 3 layouts in collaboration with See Jane Work. Today, I’m sharing with you the crafter’s desk.
I LOVE all these pieces I’ve used for styling this layout. On a daily basis, as an Interior Designer, I do a lot of different tasks. I used See Jane Work’s medium weave bin in blue on my top shelves of my Organized Living shelving system. For me, I’d use these baskets for storing fabrics, tiles, and documents for current design projects, but crafter’s can use these baskets for yarns, paint bottles, scrapbook paper, and anything else.
These white boxes are super cheap (from Hobby Lobby) and hold my markers, trim samples, colored pencils, and drafting supplies.
These wire magazine files, from See Jane Work, are my FAVORITE! They’re super sturdy and stylish. I need to get a few more!
Now, on to the desk! This look will probably stay this way. I’ll only switch out a few things.
These little jars (TJ Maxx) hold my push pins and paper clips (they’re Kate Spade from See Jane Work). Check out the bronze wire pencil holder. It’s also from See Jane Work and match my wire magazine files.
On this side of the desk, you can see that I added a large cork board from Hobby Lobby. I’ll use it to tack fabrics from my newest pillow collections, sketches, and inspirational images. My boo had this mug made for me when I first started my business 4 years ago. It was such a sweet gift. He had to sneak my logo from my site, so I wouldn’t know about the surprise. I can’t part with it.
These gold binder clips are adorable. They help organize paperwork with the labels, “To Do”, “To File”, and “To Pay”. The black file box holds hanging file folders. I already have a file cabinet, but I’ll keep this on my desk to hold current paper work that I’ll need to have easy access to.
These are Kate Spade sticky notes that I LOVE! They’re so convenient and come in multiple sizes.
And, here’s the live tour of the desk from my scope the other night.
So that’s all for the crafter’s desk! Make sure you follow me on Periscope for the live tour of this layout!!
What do you think of the “crafter” setup? I’d love to know! Leave a comment below!
Till next time,
