I’m so excited about my latest art prints!
Reimagination Prints, on Etsy, sent me this super cool art print from their shop. It’s a photo of Nat King Cole printed on upcycled dictionary paper from the 1800s!
When I first took it out of it’s packaging, the first thing I noticed was how soft and thin the paper was. It definitely speaks to its vintage nature.
These antique dictionary pages are from an 1897 dictionary of the English language, so you’ll definitely see some variation in patina and imperfections (which adds to the appeal). It would make a perfect gift for lovers of vintage items and things that have a story.
Belle, the shop owner, finds old books that are falling apart and prints vintage illustrations, old photos, and her own artwork onto the books’ pages. Dictionaries aren’t the only books that she uses; she also upcycles novels and sheet music, too.
Reimagination Prints has so many cool, original art prints in their shop. Check out some of them below.
See, it’s all awesome, right??
But, I have to admit… I’m most excited to tell you about the really neat, super sweet, personal gift she included for me.
She mentioned to me that she read an interview that I did for Laptop Cafe in the past, so she took a quote from the article and printed it on the vintage dictionary page. It’s seriously one of the sweetest things ever done for me. As soon as I find that perfect frame, I’m putting it in my office.
Do you love these as much as I do? Go visit Reimagination Prints and tell me what print is your favorite!
Till next time,
XOXO
