I love when I get to share a new project with you guys. I’ve been sharing peeks of this one all through my IG feed and stories. Follow me if you aren’t already. This bold, blue and green living room is so fun and beautiful! Read on for all the deets.

For starters, my client has been following me for a while on Instagram and messaged me there to inquire about getting started. We chatted a lot through DMs before scheduling a design consultation, and once at the consult, I KNEW this would be a fun project.
Here’s what the space looked like before:
My client had just got these polished marble floors installed and the fireplace refaced, so she was ready for a whole new look.
We knew we would need all new furniture and my client wanted lots of bold color. Right up my alley!
We started by painting all the walls blue and getting this gorgeous teal sofa and chair.
The area in the back is the entryway that I showed a few weeks ago (along with my formula for styling a entryway). It looks so good next to this bold, blue and green living room.
This clock was such a great look for over the sofa, along with the two Terrance Osborne pieces that I framed with bold, blue matting.
My client opted out of getting a coffee table or ottoman, as she’d rather keep the space open. They often have people over for parties and dinners, so my client wanted the space as open as possible for people to pull up a chair from the dining room or sit on the floor. I usually ALWAYS suggest a coffee table or ottoman to complete a living space.
The sofa is so comfy, and I made it feel extra luxe with all the texture in the pillows and throw that I added. How fun are the gold and blue pillows on the teal sofa???!!! And, unexpected. I love it!
Are you team #realplants or team #fakeplants? I’ve always hated disliked fake plants, but I’m slowly turning into a believer, as good quality faux plants and trees are becoming more easily available.
These gold curtains are EVERYTHING! I’ve actually used these panels in many projects (in different colors), as they’re really thick and high quality. Here’s the link to them if you’re interested in seeing what colors are available. They also come in lengths up to 108″!
Lastly… that rug. Ya’ll! That rug is not for the weak. It’s a serious work of art in itself. It’s such a statement piece that’ll look great in a space with a neutral background, but looks AMAZING in here, because it fits like a glove in this bold, blue and green living room!
So, that’s it for this project, ya’ll, but I have A LOT more coming to the blog! Follow me on IG for behind-the-scenes and sneak peeks.

Yes, I checked your Instagram feed, Whitney – It is absolutely gorgeous. The changes in the room are quite elegant and I love the clock, I don’t mind the fake plants though, I think it adds the uniqueness. Cozy indeed.

One of my favorite color! Thanks for sharing this. It helps me give more ideas on how to get on touch with renovating on chosen colors.
