Hey lovlies!!
One of my most recent clients hired me for online decorating services. One thing I like about my e-decor projects is that I projects are completed faster and in that time, I have to be more creative than ever. I work extremely hard trying to find an awesome solution for my client’s space(s). My design boards have to be even more appealing than those of local projects, because my clients have to picture the design I’m suggesting without having me in front of them showing where each piece of furnishing, art, and accessory can go.
My latest client knew she loved the comfort-glam spaces, and had a lot of pieces (furniture) that she loved. She just had a hard time putting it all together.
She loves navy blue and wanted a space that looks magazine worthy, but also inviting and comfortable. I chose to have gray as the base color for both rooms and accent with blue.
Here’s the design I came up with for the gray and blue living room.
For both the living room and bedroom, I used a gray and blue color scheme. For the living room I chose this awesome horse canvas art that has shades of gray, taupe, and brown. The gray rug grounds the furniture and the blue and gray pillows bring in a fun contrast on the sofa. The ottoman is very stylish in this rich shade of blue. I also specified metallic finishes in the terrariums and picture frames.
The bedroom has classic style using a mostly gray color scheme with shades of blue. I am in love with the arm chair!! The sconces would look great on both sides of my client’s television that will be hung on the wall. The architectural art prints is one of my favorite parts of the room and the gray grasscloth wallpaper is one I wish I had in my own home (it sucks to live in an apartment).
